Death over the city
Death overlooks the city while it sleeps. He mulls over his choices for the night and passes by many then stops on a lady of 93 and settles his sight on her. He sees the woman weeping in pain, alone and tired. He appears to her in the dark night and her eyes widen. He holds his hand out to her and she doesn't hesitate to take it and as she does sweet relief comes over her soul as she slips from this earthly life and on to.....

It was bone chillingly cold as they entered the house. They approached the dusty staircase as some kind of bird came swooping down and startled them. That was nothing compared to the transparent figure limping down the stairs.
They both froze in fear eyes wide. There was a putrid rotting sweet smell that overtook the room. The figure looked just like Jake! He was trying to wave them away, warn them off, but they were frozen in fear and mortified at what might have happened.
